On our Travemuende route, we are introducing an additional northbound departure every Monday at 10:30 (arr. 21:30). This new sailing closes the gap between our existing 03:00 night departure and 22:00 evening departure, while ensuring that all three departures provide a full 9hrs rest period for your drivers.
In addition, a new Thursday night departure at 01:00 (arr. 14:40) will further strengthen our schedule, bringing the total number of northbound sailings on that day to five.
On the southbound trade a fifth departure on Wednesday at 13:00 (arr. 22:30) is further increasing our frequency. Meanwhile our capacity on the 16:00 departure will be increased.
Furthermore we are connecting as from 06th of October Karlshamn and Travemuende / Rostock with one weekly sailing from each port. The sailings Monday 07:30 ex Karlshamn respective Friday evening from Travemuende and Rostock are particularly well suited for the transport of unaccompanied freight units, though accompanied units will of course also be possible.
Northbound from Rostock, we are adding one additional departure on Monday at 09:00, and arriving 16:15 in Trelleborg. Complemented by the now later afternoon departure on Monday at 15:00 from Rostock and arriving 21:30 in Trelleborg, the new timetable allows for an earlier and more flexible start to the week, thereby optimizing turnaround times.
Dear Customer,
Please be aware that as of 1 September 2025, the procedure for obtaining Transit (T1) documents at Harwich will change.
From 1 September, Border Force will no longer automatically provide a hard copy Transit document (T1).
What does this mean for you?
- The driver must now request the hard copy of the T1 document directly from Border Force.
- If the driver does not request hard copy of the document, the T1 will only be available digitally in the NCTS system, accessible to the customs agent.
- The agent would then need to forward the digital copy to the relevant parties, so the driver can present it at check-in
- Without the document, the T1 MRN cannot be added to the booking, which means the unit cannot ship.
We strongly advise to instruct your drivers to actively ask Border Force for both the generation and the printed copy of the T1.
